I would like to offer you a creative, accepting and at times challenging environment for you to develop your practice, where you have those light bulb moments which shed the light of understanding into your work.
I offer both individual and group supervision and have supervised counsellors in training and those with an established practice. I can supervise managers, staff or people where reflective practice would be of benefit to their working life.
If you are an agency I can provide supervision to help your staff restore their energies, pause and reflect on work, and foster an environment to create a fresh perspective.
My approach is humanistic, constructive and down-to-earth. I have a straightforward and practical approach putting you and your clients physical, mental and emotional well-being at the heart of our working relationship.
Together we can work in a creative way which engages you and supports the development of your practice whilst safeguarding the well-being of you and your clients. Together we can facilitate your learning, understanding, growth and development.
Models of Supervision
I use an integrative approach as it is important for me as your supervisor to be flexible based on need of the supervisee, client, situation & contract. I work within the BACP ethical framework for good practice(2016) and have found Hawkins and Shohet 7-eyed process model and Inskipp & Proctor’s functional model offers space to reflect on client work from different perspective whilst ensuring the well-being of both supervisee and client is at the centre of the work .
